While there is a lot of useful information on the free Web, your library gives you access to even more valuable resources through subscription databases.
This course aims to equip you with the skills to competently search your library’s subscription databases, so that you can help your users make better use of these valuable resources.
You’ll learn how to identify the subscription databases that your library has access to, what kinds of questions these databases will answer, and how to match appropriate databases to a query. You’ll learn to prepare for a search by identifying concepts and terms to search on, and how to search using basic and advanced search interfaces.
